Sisa Mkandla

Sisa Mkandla has been a professional artist since 2004, working both locally and internationally with various groups, including Grassroots Theatre Arts, Woza Dance Troupe and Siyaya Arts, to name a few. In her mileage in the arts world, she has performed at ZIMA (Zimbabwe National Merit Awards), Glastonbury, Edinburgh International Festival of the Arts, Llangollen Wales Music Festival and many more. Sisa has worked as a workshop facilitator for Save The Children UK in rural Zimbabwe on gender equality. Her best project yet is being among the founders of Flame Lily Arts and watching it grow from strength to strength. Sisa’s dream is to see Flame Lily Arts become a world arts icon like Ladysmith Black Mambazo.
