Valerie Mabunda

Valerie Mabunda, who has just completed her final year of Biomedical sciences at Staffordshire University, started dancing and singing at the tender age of six in the Roman Catholic Church in Zimbabwe. Her mother always encouraged her to cultivate her God given talents, and she eventually joined the Bayethe drama group which led to her receiving many awards in recognition of her talents throughout her high school years. When Valerie moved to the UK, she met up with some long lost friends who share the same passion for live arts that she does, and in 2009 she officially joined Flame Lily Arts. Valerie’s second passion is for medicine – as both serve to help people in various ways.
